2008 Ford Focus ST receives a face lift

The Focus ST has undergone a facelift, TeamRS, Ford’s performance vehicle division has added new features.

The new ST has new headlight clusters, new body panels and new tail lights.

The car still has it’s old top speed of 150mph and is running the 2.5-litre turbocharged 5 cylinder Duratec engine which pushes out 221bhp.

There are three-door and five-door models in hatchback form. Priced from £18,250 ($36,000) to £20,850 ($42,000). They all receive new multi-function steering wheels, Recaro sports seats and new instrumentation.

The car comes in ST, ST2 and ST3 forms. The ST2 has a Sony audio system, bi-xenon headlights and LED tail lights. The range-topper, which is the ST3 has an in-dash 6-cd changer and full leather intertior with all the above extras.

There are other optional features like satellite navigation systems and Bluetooth connectivity which you could add.

The new Focus goes for sale in the UK on 1 May. Auto Insurance prices should be similar to the old ones.
