BMW’s latest attack on the market, the V3 Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS). The V3 is an estate model, based on the 3-series Touring underpinnings, which are designed for both passenger and luggage space in mind.

The spyshot reveals that the V3 PAS has a taller roofline than its 3-series donor, which will give it more interior space. A new suspension heightens the car and both rear-wheel and four-wheel drive variants will be available. The same xDrive system which is found in the X5 and X6 will provide the all-wheel traction. You will be able to get the model will a six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines which will be available from launch.

The V3 model is set for showrooms in 2012 and the V3 is part of a new strategy from BMW. The V prefix will carry as the X is used for SUVs and Z for sports cars.
