Peugeot adding the 308 RC Z Coupe to their lineup

Peugeot has revealed that they will be adding the 308 RC Z coupe into their line-up.

The Audi TT rival will be running off the same platform as the 308 hatch, but the only difference is that it will have a wider track.

The RC Z will be powered by a 1.6-litre turbo engine, with around 170bhp. There will also be a model with a 1.6-litre naturally aspirated unit.

The firm is hoping that this model will improve its image with the young buyers as the 205 GTi did back in the day.

The car will be on sale in the UK around 2010. The prices are expected to start at about £17,500, auto insurance quotes are not yet known.
