General Motors’ Lansing Grand River plant will produce the Cadillac CTS Coupe

General Motors has finally announced some good news about the Lansing Grand River assembly plant today. The Cadillac CTS Coupe and CTS Wagon will be produced at this assembly plant in the first half of 2009. The Lansing Grand River plant is currently producing the CTS, STS and SRX models.

GM has not yet released details on these models, and the Lansing Grand River plant will also be responsible for the building of the Cadillac CTS diesel for Europe. The Cadillac SRX will continue its production at the plant, and the next-generation SRX will receive its own platform unlike the current model which uses the STS sedan’s platform.
