Well known soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo, has crashed his Ferrari 599 in a tunnel under the Manchester Airport.

The Manchester United winger destroyed his V12 Ferrari 599 GTB at 10:30 am on the 8th of January. Ronaldo was on his way to the United’s training complex in Sale when this occurred.

Goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar was busy driving behind the winger at the time.

Onlookers have described the Ferrari as a write off and the images prove that this statement is pretty accurate. The front wheel was found around 200 yards down the road.

The Ferrari is only one of many supercars owned by Ronaldo, whose garage includes a BMW M6, Porsche 911, Bentley Continental GTC and a Rolls Royce Phantom.

Ronaldo was not hurt in the accident and we have included a video for everyone to see the route that Cristiano Ronaldo took when the accident happened.
