Official Nissan 370Z Drop-top Sketches

Nissan have registered the official design sketches of their new upcoming 370Z Roadster at the European Trademark Office.

The new 370Z drop-top will feature a electric folding fabric roof, and it will have the same 3.7-litre V6 engine as the coupe model. The engine pushes out 332-hp with 270lb-ft of torque. There will be a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox available, along with a new 7-speed automatic.

Nissan’s drop-top 370Z will most probably weigh a bit more than the coupe, and in terms of pricing, the convertible 370Z will also cost a bit more than the coupe.

Carscoop sources are saying that Nissan are planning to debut the 370Z Roadster at the New York Auto show, and it will be sold as a 2010 model.
