The new 2011 BMW M5 has been caught during testing at the Nurburgring. So far there have been many spy shots of the new 5-Series model which will launch in Spring 2010.

The M model usually gets released a year after the standard ‘Series’ models, so this means that the new BMW M5 will be a 2011 model. The 2011 BMW M5 will drop the naturally aspirated V10 engine for a tuned up twin-turbocharged V8 motor which is similar to that found in the 4.4-litre X6 xDrive50i.

The new 2011 BMW M5 should have around 550-hp or more.
