Rumours of the light weight Lamborghini Murcielago have been around for quite a while now, and finally some more details of the Lamborghini Murcielago Superveloce have arrived.

Sources are saying that the special-edition Murcielago LP670-4 SV will feature 30-hp more than the base LP640, for a total of 661-hp. This will allow the new Murcielago to get from 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 213 mph.

The Murcielago SV will also weigh around 220lbs less than the standard 3,663 lbs standard model.

Lamborghini’s new limited-edition Murcielago will have all-wheel-drive with upgrades such as carbon ceramic brakes as a standard. There will also be a few exterior changes on the Superveloce, such as more aggressive looking carbon fibre body parts which will drop the weight. Sources claim that there will be a matte-black finish on the outside and an interior mix of carbon fibre and alcantara.

We can expect the Lamborghini Murcielago SV at the Geneva Motor Show.
