Leaked: Opel Ampera EV Sketches

General Motors have had the official sketches of their electric Ampera leaked onto the web. The Ampera is the European version of the Chevrolet Volt, and it will be sold under the Opel brand.

The only visible changes comes in the form a restyled front and rear bumper, along with a new set of alloy wheels.

The Ampera is expected to be on the market during late 2010, and it will have the Voltec technology found in the Volt, which means that there will be a lithium-ion battery which can be charged via a 230V standard outlet. The battery will give the Ampera around 60km of range.
