Limited Edition Scion tC Release Series 5.0 priced from $17,000

The 2009 Chicago Auto Show will unveil the latest limited edition of the Scion tC compact coupe, dubbed the Release Series 5.0. The Scion tC Release Series 5.0 will be on sale in March 2009, and it will come equipped with numerous accessories and performance upgrades from Toyota Racing Development.

Scion’s new 2009 tC RS 5.0 will have a gloss black exterior paint job with a range of performance products from TRD, including TRD edition 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels in matte black with a red trim. There will also be red TRD lowering springs, a red TRD rear sway bar, a black rear lip spoiler, a TRD sport muffler and TRD exterior badges.

The inside will feature a black leather steering wheel with red stitching, black seats with red accents and floor mats with the TRD logo.

There will only be 2,000 units of the tC Release Series 5.0 and the manual version will start at $17,000, while the automatic starting at $17,800.
