Official News and Images: Audi TT RS

Audi have released images, along with some detailed information on the brand-new Audi TT RS. The TT RS will be the hottest TT model yet, it will be unveiled at the Geneva Show and it will come to Earth in both, Coupe and Roadster forms.

The TT RS will have a new turbocharged 2.5-litre 5-cylinder engine with direct injection. The engine will have 340-hp and a maximum torque figure of 450Nm. Audi’s sportiest TT will feature quattro-all-wheel drive, and it will have the power sent to the wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

Audi have said that the TT RS will get from 0-100km/h in only 5.0 second, and it will then travel to an electronically limited top speed of 255km/h. The engineers from Audi have also upgraded the brakes, suspension and electronic stability control systems on the TT RS.

The TT RS will be distinguishable by the larger front air vents, the distinctive rear diffuser, the fixed boot spoiler and the twin-spoke alloy wheels. Inside of the TT RS you will find a multifunction leather sports steering wheel with sport seats covered in a combination of Alcantara and leather.

You will be able to purchase the Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster in the second quarter of the year.
