Audi TT Roadster will soon benefit from a new engine

Audi are planning to downsize and offer new 1.8-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engines with 160-hp on the TT Roadster. The new model will be priced at £23,910 OTR, and the first UK customers will be able to benefit from this in April.

The 1.8-litre TFSI direct-injection unit will be connected to a six-speed manual transmission, and this will allow the roadster to get from 0-100km/h in 7.4 seconds, and then move on to a top speed of 224km/h. The average fuel consumption will be set at 6.9-litrse per 100km.
