Infiniti’s Essence powertrain will be added to various cars

The engine from the Infiniti Essence concept will most likely find its way into the redesigned M sedan for 2010, as well as the G37 coupe and sedan. The 3.7-litre direct-injection engine is a twin-turbocharged V6 unit with 340-350hp and good fuel-efficiency.

It was also said that the Infiniti Essence concept might be a look at a future Q model.

Nissan are also busy planning to cut their V8 engine range down to one unit, which means that all of the V8 cars will share the same engine.
