Jaguar have decided that the next-generation XJ will be at the London Show in July. The XJ will have a lightweight alloy construction with sleek styling and a new range of engines.

Apparently the XJ styling will be similar to the XF, with the interior having the same luxurious quality and feel as well.

You can expect a 237-hp engine for the Jaguar XJ, as well as a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo diesel motor with 271-hp. The XJR will have a 503-hp 5.0-litre V8 unit.

It was also reported that the Jaguar XF Estate will be at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The Estate will carry the same engine range as the sedan, and will include a 510-hp XFR Estate to compete with the BMW M5 Estate and the Mercedes-Benz E 64 AMG Estate.

Expect two diesel versions of the XF Estate as well.
