The world’s changing.. People think that darth vader grilles, a gold interior and bright red paint are the shizzle. Well, we have news for a few folks.. Red paint with a gold interior is not cool.
Although this article has nothing to do with that, we’re just trying to find a way to tell you that Bugatti are planning a four-door, four-seater for the Frankfurt Show. The new Bugatti will take the Royale name-tag and it is said to be in celebration of the companies 100th birthday.
The Bugatti Royale will be inspired by the 1927 Type 41 Royale, and it is expected to cost a few pennies more than the Veyron.
You will only be eligible for the Royale if you fall into the ‘local customer’ range, so if four-door, four-seater supercars are your fetish you might be a bit sad about this one.
Two extra doors won’t be the only addition on this car, as Bugatti will team up with VW’s Bentley brand to develop a new front-engine sedan platform. The Royale will have four-wheel-drive and an 8.-litre W16 engine with four-turbochargers.
There will be a 7-speed dual-clutch box, and a 0-100km/h time of 3.0seconds with a top speed of 250km/h.
