It has been reported that the Chrysler ENVI division will introduce their first electric-model during 2010, where it was never reported which model would enter production. Well, now according to CNNMoney the first model will be the 268-hp Dodge Circuit with no petrol engine.

The Dodge Circuit will only be an electric car with a 150-200 mile range on a full charge. Expect a 0-100km/h time in under 5 seconds and a top speed of 120mph.

“To be able to meet a 2010 timeline, you have to be pretty far along in development, and right now we are,” said Lou Rhodes, head of Chrysler’s electric car program.

The Dodge Circuit will be similar to the Tesla Roadster.
