Mazda will introduce a new diesel Sport model in the UK market

Mazda are planning on extending their Mazda2 citycar line up with a brand new model. Mazda are going to add a 1.6D Sport model to the line up, and this variant will be available in both three-door and five-door body styles. Expect a 1.6-litre diesel engine with 90-hp and 215Nm of torque.

You will find the 1.6D Sport model getting from a stand still to 100km/h in 11.4 seconds. The fuel economy will be arted at 67.3mpg UK.

Pricing for the new Mazda 1.6D Sport will start at £12,817, and it will come with projector-like headlamps, a new discreet body kit, 16-inch wheels and a modified interior which includes dark cloth door trim inserts, blacked-out instruments, Dynamic Stability Control, Traction Control, dusk sensing auto-lights, rain sensing auto-wipers and climate control air-conditioning.
