Shanghai Auto Show: Hyundai Sonata EF

Hyundai’s new mid-size sedan on show is codenamed the BT01, which is in fact a redesigned version of the previous generation Sonata (EF). This model is the first one which styled by Hyundai’s Chinese joint venture, the Beijing Hyundai Motor Company.

The new Sonata EF will feature startling headlamps with a massive grille which is chromed. The back will feature a newly designed bumper and restyled tail lamps which will extend onto the boot.

Inside of the Hyundai you will find a two-tone colour scheme, as well as new central gauge cluster.

The engine is a 2.0-litre Beta motor with a 5-speed manual or 4 speed optional automatic ‘box.

Hyundai will sell the BT01 in China during the summer month, where the name and price will be announced.
