Telesto Ventures would like to buy Saturn’s retail operations and then provide dealers with vehicles from General Motors through 2011. Telesto would then like to provide Saturn models to overseas markets after 2011.

GM have said that the proposal is very interesting, and it is legitimate.

“I can tell you this is one of the interested parties with Saturn and we have been working with them throughout this process,” GM spokesman Steve Janisse told Automotive News. “There are other interested parties as well who we’re working with. But I can’t speculate on where all this will go.”

It was reported that Telesto will be talking to various foreign automakers to offer vehicles to other countries.
