Interior Of The BMW X1 Revealed For The First Time
Spy News | Dean | May 27, 2009 at 20:11BMW’s new X1 has had its interior revealed though a test drive from Auto-News.de. Although a range of photos were taken, the best and most interesting one is definitely the interior shot.
It’s believed that the interior of the X1 will be mixed with the 1-Series design and the 3-Series navigation part, but judging by the photos it seems as if the X1 interior is unique to itself.
There are how ever similar controls, and this is expected as it’s a BMW car, and BMW models will have shared technology. The difference comes in that the buttons are in different places, and the air vents and other little things are styled and arranged differently.
Expect three different engine ranges at launch, and this means these units:
- BMW X1 xDrive20d – 177 horsepower – 8.4 seconds 0-60 mph – Max Speed 132 mph (213 km/h) – 40.5 mph (5.8 liters / 100 km)
- BMW X1 xDrive23d – 204 horsepower – 7,3 seconds 0-60 mph – Max Speed 138 mph (223 km/h) – 37 mpg (6,3 Liter / 100 km)
- BMW X1 xDrive28i – 6.7 seconds 0-100 – Max Speed 142 mph(230 km/h)
Expect some good fuel economy and CO2 emissions from the xDrive18i and xDrivex18d models.
