Lotus Evora to lose back seats in favour of a drop-top

The new Lotus Evora is going to be an awesome model, no doubt about it. The automaker has decided that they will limit the fun on the drop-top model, as there will only be two seats.. in the front. The back seats will be removed to create space for the roof which will retract.
Lotus are planning to add new features to the car every year, and they will include a paddle shift gearbox, alond with a high performance supercharged version before the roadster in 2012.
The retractable roof is said to be a problem, so this explains the removal of two seats. It was said that the roof will go infront of the engine, where the back seats are and this means that we can expect a soft top instead of the hardtop which is found in most of the new models from other brands.
The soft top will however keep the weight down, and still offer a good ride.
