New images of the Lotus Evora have found their way online, and they come just a few weeks before the delivery of the new model in Europe. The latest photos include spy shots as well as the building process.

So now you might be asking… Just what is the Evora? Well, the Lotus Evora is a sports car with a mid-mounted Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre engine with 6 cylinders and 276-hp with 342Nm of torque. There will be a six-speed manual gearbox sending the power to the rear wheels, which means you can do serious drifting, and some serious dough-nuts..

There is a automatic version planned for the future, but for now, buyers can opt for a close-ratio manual stick-shift ‘box.

Expect a 0-100km/h time of just over 5 seconds, and a top speed of 260km/h. There will be a lightweight build and a fuel-consumption of only 8.7-litres per 100km.

Inside you will find a 2+2 configuration.
