GM should, as general practice, design and engineer in the necessary (most stringent baseline) structural standards required for any vehicle worldwide thus making it easy to adapt it to any market as desired. (And the rear hatch for these types of vehicles should always include a separate opening glass portion for ease of loading/unloading small items). Offer BAS-plus as an option to aid fuel economy......
