Rendering: 2010 Renault Twingo CC – Ferrari Styled Roof
New Cars, Renderings | Dean | May 27, 2009 at 13:44Speculation about the new Renault Twingo coupe-cabriolet has started. The news from Renault came not to long ago where they announced that they will produce a drop-top model. The Twingo CC has now been the flavour of the month in some magazines as they have worked hard to reveal what they think the model might look like.
The Twingo CC is rendered here with a rotating central-piece rooftop which is very similar to that of a design found in the Ferrari 575 M Superamerica.
In the Ferrari there was a roof top which would fling back to the deck lid, where in the Twingo CC there will be a single piece hard-top that will be hidden away in the boot that opens up similar to most other coupe-convertibles.
So the rotating roof idea is no exactly a copy of the Ferrari, but the idea is definitely there.
Regarding the design in the images, well, let us just say that it will turn heads but not lift any trophies for good looks.
Sadly we do not have any news on the power train options. However, we can expect the usual 1.2-litre turbo motors which Renault are already offering.
