For those that didn’t know this, Dacia is  a sub-brand of Renault for the Romanian market. Although that peice of information is pretty useless, we have something which might excite some people.. The Dacia Sandero Stepway.

The Sandero Stepway is a small hatchback which has a front wheel drive layout, with a crossover-like design. The Sandero Stepway was unveiled at the Barcelona Auto Show, and the model pretty much reveals what the Renault Sandero Stepway looks like.

Okay, so there is of course a few differences with the crossover when you compare it to the original hatch, and these differences include a 20mm higher ground clearance, visual upgrades in the form of body-coloured bumpers and fog lights, roof bars and protecting cladding.

It’s repored that the interior of the Stepway features black upholstery with white stitching and a revised trim.

Buyers interested in this model will be able to get this model with a 90-hp 1.6-litre petrol and a 70-hp 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine. It will be available in September.
