Rumour: Fiat Might Axe Lancia If They Obtain Opel

Recently there has been a lot of news about Fiat looking at buying into Opel, or the whole brand as such. The Italian automaker recently obtained the Chrysler brand for American automaking and auto-selling. The Fiat group would now like General Motors’ Opel brand in the UK.

Although Fiat are fighting against Magna for the Opel group, they are already planning what they might do with the brand.

Rumours have said that if Fiat do obtain Opel, they would axe the Lancia brand, which is actually good for about 100,000 units annually. Lancia have said that this is utter bull-…., seeing as they are pretty successful in their home market.
