Volkswagen have added a brand new BlueMotion model to their line up. The new BlueMotion variant will be a SUV, and this motor will effect the Touareg V6 TDI.
VW’s new BlueMotion model will have a 10 percent reduction in fuel consumption, and this means that there will be a fuel economy of about 8.3 litres per 100km.
At the moment there is also news of VW producing a V6 TSI hybrid, which gets 9litres per 100km. It is said that the company is creating both models due to the TDI having all wheel drive with a six-speed automatic ‘box pushing 225-hp to the ground, while the TSI will be a 374-hp unit from a V6 and an electric motor.
