The Worthesee GTI meeting in Austria is underway, and we now have images and news on the new Polo Concept which has been developed by Volkswagen. The Worthesee 09 Polo Concept hints at performance Polo’s from the past. The exterior is racy, whilst the engine is not that tasty.
The engine is a 1.4-litre MPI unit with 86-hp… Speedy.
The exterior features a red body colour with racing stripes, and new alloy wheels in the size of 18-inches. There is a lowered chassis, and the radiator grille screen, mirror caps, back drop of the headlights and inserts and the lower bumper are all finished in black.
Inside of the Polo Concept you’ll find new leather trims in different colours, in different places. There will be leather on the hand brake, gear knob and the steering wheel. Expect black accents on the center console as well as new sport pedals and aluminium tread plates with the Polo Worthesee 09 tag.
