Arden has decided to take time away from Jaguar and Land Rover models where they have now focused on a MINI Cooper. The new Equipe special edition Cooper will only be built in a limited production of 40 units. There will be both mechanical and style upgrades on this special edition.

The outside of the MINI Equipe features a handmade stainless steel and chrome grille, alongside new chromed tail pipes at the back. Expect lightweight 18-inch Arden Gram alloy wheels.

Inside you will find a new dashboard, seats, steering wheel and doors which will be covered in a two-tone leather scheme. Other includes to the interior include a new set of foot pedals and specific floor mats.

The performance changes will include new engine electronic and a new intercooler with a complete stainless steel exhaust system that features a racing catalytic converter to boost MINI performance by 50 horsepower and 50Nm of torque.

Arden did not say which model was modified, but we’re expecting it to be the Cooper S with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine featuring 172-hp. The engine upgrades are then completed by a sport suspension which features a lowered ride height of about 30mm.
