BMW X1 SUV: Official Spy Shots In One HUGE Gallery

BMW recently invited a range of auto journalists to the Spanish island of Mallorca where they were able to test drive the first versions of the BMW X1 Compact SUV. Below we have over 100 images from the presentation, and they still reveal the model in ’spy shot’ form.

The X1 will be situated before the X3 in the line up, and it is expected that the Frankfurt show will house the full unveiled BMW X1 SUV.

Expect the models to hit showrooms in 2011.

The X1 will feature a modified 3-Series platform along with the xDrive system and a range of petrol and diesel engines.

The petrol range will start at a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit with 143 to 170-hp. There will be a 3.0-litre straight six as well with 265-hp. Expect the diesel to be a 2.0-litre unit with 143-hp, 177-hp and 204-hp.
