Images of the new Citroen C3 has released online. The images come before the Frankfurt Auto Show for September and they feature the new C3 from all angles. The C3 will be a five-door hatch with a three-door version coming in 2010. The 3-door version of the C3 will be called the DS3.

The new design is much better than the previous generation version, and it comes with a new oversized glass windscreen which will extend way past the A pillars. The windscreen will lighten up the cabin tremendously.

The design of the C3 was influenced by the DS3 concept, which will eventually be released in production form next year.

Citroen has added a dashboard from the pre-production concept. This unit will be trendy and it will have a leather surface. The new C3 cabin will be more upscale than the current model.

Citroen’s C3 will measure in at 1.71 meters wide, 3.94 meters long. The model will rival the Ford Fiesta and it will be launched with a 90-horsepower HDi diesel engine with only 99g/km of CO2 emissions.

There are no other details on the range, but there will be a Stop&Start system for a 2011 model.
