Citroen Confirm The DS4 And DS5 Models

Citroen are planning to reveal a production version of the DS3 at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The new DS3 will fall part of the new DS range which includes the DS4 and DS5 models. The DS4 and DS5 are said to only appear in dealers during the year of 2011.

The cars will feature the basic architecture from the original C models, but they will however be built for a more up scale market.

The DS3 will be based on the DS Inside concept, where the DS4 will fall part of the 2005 C-Sportlounge concept with a 2+2 seating layout. The DS5 will be a model similar to that of the BMW X6, except it will have a lower price tag. The DS5 is expected to be based on the Hypnos Concept from Paris 2008, and this model will feature a diesel-hybrid engine.

Citroen have said that the C3 will end in November.
