Mazda Axela Released In Japan

Mazda have announced the launch of the all new Alexa for the Japanese market. The Alexa is also known as the Mazda3 around the world.

Mazda’s new 3 for Japan will have a two-door bodystyle, a four door sedan style and also a five-door hatchback style. These models will be powered by a 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre four cylinder petrol engine and they will be connected to 4 and 5 speed automatic transmissions.

There is nothing really new on these models, except that they come with the option for an all-wheel-drive system.

The range topping Axela will be the MazdaSpeed model, and this model will feature a 2.3-litre turbocharged engine with front-wheel-drive power.

Expect the pricing to start at 1,660,000 yen.
