Rendering & Rumours: 2012 Honda CR-V

Japanese magazines love their renderings and there is almost a new rendering in each magazine every month. The latest rendering comes from Mag-X as they unveil their take on the new 2012 Honda CR-V.

The new look will apparently depict what the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show will house when Honda decide to unveil this model. The report apparently says that the new CR-V’s exterior will be finalized by the end of this year, where it will then be built on the current platform.

According to the magazine the powertrain options will remain the same, and this means a 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre engine with a 2.2-litre diesel coming into play as well. Mag-X has said that Honda will not add a new V6 engine to the range and instead they will add a new ‘advanced engine’.
