Hyundai has been caught testing their 2011 Sonata model in South Korea where it boasts a load of plastic wraps.

The mid-size sedan called the Sonata in Korea will be called the i40 in European countries, where it will then be unveiled in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

According to the images and the design of the camouflage, we’re expecting a new, more adventurous Sonata/i40 with a new platform that should be slightly bigger than the outgoing model.

Engines for the new Hyundai should come in the form of V6 petrol engines, along with 2.0 and 2.2-litre diesel units with 185 and 200-hp.
