Spy Shots: Peugeot 308 RC Z Coupe

Peugeot’s 308 RC Z concept from the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show is finally going into production to rival the Audi TT. The new Peugeot will be on sale during 2010, where it will also be on stage at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The car was recently caught testing, and it seems as if the model looks very similar to the concept which was already on show.

The 308 RC Z features a double bubble rear screen and roof panel which is still in play from the concept. There is also new sweptback headlights and an extra-large front grille.

There will be a wide track on this model, along with a reworked suspension and a new steering systems with beefing brakes for stopping power.

The concept will have a twin-scroll 1.6-litre turbocharged engine with 218hp and a front-wheel-drive six speed manual gearbox.
