Volkswagen Release A New BlueMotion Touareg V6

Volkswagen have unveiled a new BlueMotion version of the Touareg SUV which will come with a more powerful version of the standard 3.0-litre V6 TID engine. The new motor will produce 225-hp with 550Nm of torque, and this will all be pushed to the ground through a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The BlueMotion Touareg will have a load of new modifications which include new revised aerodynamics, a new engine with a more efficient alternator and also lower resistance tires.

Expect a 8.3-litre per 100km fuel consumption with CO2 emissions set at 219g/km. There will be prices set at £34,150 for the base model.
