2010 MINI One D: The New Entry-Level Diesel Variant

MINI has added a new entry-level hatchback to their European range. As of September 2009 there will be a new entry-level diesel model that will use a detuned Cooper D 1.6-ltire common rail diesel engine with 90 horsepower and 215Nm of torque.

The engine will be connected a 6-speed manual gearbox and it will get from 0-100km/h in only 11.5 seconds with a top speed of 182km/h.

MINI’s new One D will have a range of fuel-enhancing technologies which include a Brake Energy Regenration system, and a new Auto Start Stop Function.

These features will result in an average fuel consumption of 3.9-litres per 100km. There will then be CO2 emissions set at 104 grams per kilometer.

You will be able to distinguish the MINI One Diesel model by t he body colour, the black mirror caps, the black boot lid and the roof.
