Mercedes-Benz E-Class Drop-Top Caught Testing On The ‘Ring

A new set of Mercedes-Benz E-Class cabriolet pictures has come to our attention. The latest E-Class drop-top from Mercedes-Benz was caught running the ‘Ring in prototype form where it was boasting similar styling to that of the Coupe model.

Although the company did mask the front, it was not really needed, as we’ve seen the original Coupe model. Anyway, the Convertible will be pretty much the same except for a few changes here and there when it comes to the roof line and wind screen.

The windscreen will apparently have a new windscreen mounted air deflector which will push the air away from the cabin when the top is dropped.

Expect the engine range to be the same in the E-Class model, where Merc has also denied an AMG version. The full reveal will be at the Frankfurt Show in September.
