Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Image – Real Or Not?

A scanned photo has arrived from the German car magazine, Autobild. The image concerns the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing.. Or so they say. The image could have been photoshopped, or it could be original. We don’t know.

We do know that the car will be unveiled in Frankfurt and that it will go on sale in 2010. The SLR replacement will be developed by Merc’s AMG division and it will feature a 6.3-litre V8 engine with 571-horsepower.

The image shows an SLS with a different kind of front end that doesn’t seem to be very aerodynamic. Overall we don’t really like this look, but it is based on an Merc old model with air planes in mind.. So hey, whatever?
