Will Audi Unveil The R8 ePerformance EV Concept In Frankfurt?

Rumours have said that Audi will use the Frankfurt motor show to unveil the electric R8 to the public. The new Audi will apparently be called the R8 ePerformance, where it will feature power from a large powerful battery pack that will run the electric motors. It was said that the car won’t be a hybrid, but instead a full electric car.

Audi will create the R8 ePerformance with some notable exterior differences when compared to the petrol unit. The changes will include the removal of the large air intakes, as well as the modification of the side gills and rear side intakes.

Mercedes-Benz has also confirmed an electric super car called the SLS, so the R8 ePerformance will be a direct rival to this model.
