GM Officials Are Rumouring The Pontiac G8 To Become A Four-Door Corvette

General Motors are once again talking about the Pontiac G8 surviving as another type of model. It was reported that the G8 was just ‘too good to waste’, so GM said that they would like to convert it into a Chevrolet Caprice-type of model.

Well, after they reported that it might survive as a Chevy, they then changed their mind by saying that the model had no place in this era, and it would just be too petrol-heavy.

Now once again, new rumours are floating around and they state that the model might actually come back as a high-end Chevrolet model. The news comes from a GM meeting which had a few PR and social media people present.

It was said that the G8 might return as a high-end model that will have high-end brakes, a big engine and a lot of speed – almost like a four-door Corvette.

Of course this is not official, and we should probably just file this under Old News.
