Gumpert’s Apollo Sport Sets A New ‘Ring Lap Record

Gumpert has finally put their new Apollo Sport on the Nurburgring in Germany where it actually set a new lap record for a road-legal production car. The record was achieved then the Audi-powered Apollo Sport lapped the track in only 7 minutes and 11.57 seconds.
The man in the drivers seat was 26-year old Florian Gruber.
So how did the Gumpert achieve this? Well, the car is powered by a 700-horsepower engine with a 4.2-litre bi-turbo V8 engine from Audi. The 0-200km/h time is set at 8.9 seconds where it will then have a top speed of 360km/h.
The release date for this car has not yet been released.
