Images, Details & Pricing On The New 2010 Alfa Romeo 159 Models

Alfa Romeo’s new 159 models will soon be released on the UK market where they will be in both a saloon and sport variant. The new turbocharged Alfa’s will be revised for the 2010 year where they will have a 1750 TBi petrol and a 2.0-litre JTDM diesel engine.

The new 1750 TBi engine for the 159 will boast a 1.75-litre displacement with direct-injection and turbocharing. The engine will make 200-horsepower and it will have 320Nm of torque. Alfa has modified this petrol unit to launch the car from 0-100km/h in only 7.7 seconds where it will then top out at 236km/h. The fuel figures will be set at 8.1-litres per 100km.

Alfa’s other engine, the 2.0 JTDM diesel unit will have 170-horsepower with 360Nm of torque. This engine will get from 0-100km/h in 8.8 seconds where it will top out at only 219km/h. The fuel economy on the diesel unit will be set at 5.4-litres per 100km.

The 2010 Alfa Romeo will be available in five trim levels that include the Turismo, Turismo Sport, Elegante, Lusso and TI units. The Turismo Sport will have a load of upgrades over the base Turismo model, and this will mean that you can expect 17-inch alloy wheels, Blue&Me sports seat cloth, a sporty leather steering wheel and a new remote with audio controls and sports dials.

The Elegante will then add a rear parking sensor, a visibility pack and new seat and door upholstery.

Pricing will start at £21,800.
