Renault’s New Megane Sport Tourer Launched In The UK

Renault’s new Sport Tourer has officially arrived in UK showrooms where deliveries will start during November. The new model will include 21 different variants in four different trim levels. The trim levels include the Expression, Dynamique, TomTom and Privilege models. Prices will start at £15,485, and then end at £22,785. Renault has said that there will also be a new trim level for future and it is called the Extreme.

The entry-level is the Expression which will come with a 4×15W RDS radio CD player, air-conditioning, front and rear curtain airbags, ESP, folding front passenger seats, front and rear electric windows, keyless entry and also chrome roof bars.

Expect the Dynamique to add 16-inch wheels, automatic lights and wipers, a Bluetooth and a MP3 connection, along with a Hands free Renault card and a leather steering wheel. The TomTom Edition will feature all of the above along with a new Carminat TomTom system.

The last model will be the Privilege unit that features a dual-zone climate control system, electric folding mirrors, electrochrome rear view mirror and an arm rest with storage.

Engines will be in the form of petrol and diesel units, where there will be a 1.4 TCe 130 and 2.0 TCe 180 turbocharged petrol set, with the 2.0 dCi 160 being a diesel.
