VW Are Planning A BlueMotion Scirocco

Green days are homing in on us, and all we can really do is sit back and brace our self for the new era of transportation. Of course ‘green’ days have nothing in common with blue days, which are in fact something that musicians like to write about.

It’s been reported that Volkswagen are now planning a new greener Scirocco model. The Scirocco’s green treatment will then be passed along to the Passat CC and the Tiguan SUV. Volkswagen will change one variant in the line up as they will add a turbocharged 1.6-litre diesel engine with new aerodynamic tweaks, low resistance tires and new revised gear ratios.

This model will not use an electric motor for hybrid power, instead it will just boast reduced emissions and boosted fuel economy.
