GM Will Once Again Delay The Opel Decision

General Motors are expected to once again delay the final decision revolving around the Opel brand. A German news paper has reported that GM was starting a two-day board meeting, where they will most likely decide to delay the final decision until October this year.
The report has come with the news that says that GM would prefer to keep Opel instead of selling it to RHJ International or Magna. However, if they cannot keep the company they will then prefer a RHJ deal, despite the tremendous amount of pressure from the German government.
Although GM already signed an initial agreement to sell their stake to Magna, they are backing off from this as they are worried about the leak of plans to the Russian industrial partner, GAZ which is currently the second largest automaker in the country, behind GM.
