Hyundai America buyers will not be able to purchase a V6 Sonata when the new sedan goes on sale, according to a recent report by Wards. The 2011 Hyundai Sonata will go on sale in the US next year, where it will come with the new 2.4-litre Theta II GDI 4-cylinder petrol engine that pushes out 175-horsepower.
Fuel consumption on this engine is estimated at 22/32 miles per gallon, and it will be connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

This is terrible news for V6 lovers like myself who love the Sonata. Atleast give us a turbo 4 then.
It will have a turbo four
