Geely is apparently the only automaker really interested in Volvo, and sadly, negotiations have come to a halt. Geely and Volvo are no longer talking about this, as they are still negotiating a load of terms and conditions revolving around the transaction.

Allan Mulally, Ford’s CEO said, “Volvo is a good brand, but Ford will sell it in order to shift its main focus on developing the Ford brand,”

Well, sadly we won’t know much more about this deal as both parties have signed a confidentiality document that prohibits them talking about the deal.

Reports have however said that Geely is no longer looking for a majority stake, they would rather want a 100 percent stake in the brand.
