VW’s Design Boss Is Having Sleepless Nights Over The Golf VII

After Volkswagen supposedly teased us with a mock up version of the Golf 7; news regarding Walter de Silva – VW’s design boss states that he is losing sleep over the new model. de Silva has been very successful at VW, and he has been responsible for many models in the automotive world.

However, a recent interview states that he is worried about the Golf VII.

“When I think about the Golf VII, I do not sleep at night,” says de Silva.

de Silva has been awarded with the task for the next-generation Golf VII which will be due for 2012. The design for the new Golf 7 will have to be iconic, as well as functional. There must be the correct balance between functionality, and flair.
